What is transformative social change?

Social change can lead to a reformed society—small actions, one at a time that change how human beings interact with each other and how organizations perform within that framework. Many people desire positive social change but only a few have the necessary skills to effectively channel that desire into actionable leadership. In a word, transformative social change means impact, and we’re here to empower students to impact the world around them.

In our graduate school programs, you’ll study relevant subjects from international and comparative politics to social justice and world economics. You’ll study people, how they communicate, and how you can shape your community for the better through leadership, community engagement, social justice, and more.

We equip graduates with the tools they need to become leaders in their communities, addressing generational poverty and how policy is written and enacted. Upon graduation, students will be prepared and confident in their abilities to better their communities.
