Page updated on 11/14/23

This page contains information related to Saybrook University’s programs designed to prepare students for the attainment of a professional license or certification and its determination as to whether those programs meet the educational prerequisites for professional licensure or certification. Programs omitted from this list are not intended to lead to a professional licensure or certification.

Additional licensure requirements: Requirements for licensure or certification in addition to educational prerequisites may include professional examinations, background checks, years of work experience, fingerprinting requirements, etc.

Potential changes in requirements: Students who plan to pursue licensure should be aware that requirements for professional licensure can vary drastically by state, and these requirements are subject to change at any time. While a program may originally meet the educational requirements for licensure, changes in requirements or laws could impact the program’s ability to meet new educational requirements. Students should always check with their state licensure board to confirm licensure requirements.

Important note for relocating during the course of a program: Prospective and current students should keep in mind that relocating to another state during the course of a program could impact their ability to meet the licensure or certification requirements of the relocating state.
