What is integrative and functional nutrition?

Going beyond basic dietetics, integrative and functional nutrition examines digestive health by understanding its interconnection with other contextual factors—including environmental impact, physiological, psychology, and even inherited gene makeup. By considering the patient’s unique lived experience, a skilled integrative and functional nutrition practitioner can improve another’s quality of life through holistic medicine and health science suggestions for nutritional and lifestyle improvements.

Integrative and functional nutrition is designed to improve lives for healthier living. Our graduates are transforming health care and nutritional sciences by treating their patients’ minds, bodies, and spirits.
